The Jung Typology Test described me as ESTJ, Extraverted Sensing Thinking Judging.  I am someone who thinks everything through and does not tend to stray far from a pack of people. I really have to have everything planned out and in order before I do anything, which would mean that for me to travel anywhere I would first have to have a schedule or list of things I would want to do.
However, I am also someone who tends to do things out of the blue. For instance if I go somewhere and something magically appears and I find interesting I tend to pursue it and stray away from the planned route for a while. Even though I find myself off task for a bit I always end up back to the schedule and become determine to finish what I start.
This test also showed that I am hard working and really enjoy working with others. I am someone who hates to be alone but hates large groups as well. Working with a small group of people or traveling with a small group is something I enjoy and can handle. I am someone who likes to know everyone and likes to explorer and discover new places. I feel that this test described me very well with these four letters.
I am for the most part what they described. I am someone who sticks to strict schedules and plans ahead. I also found it interesting that the job description for these letters has to do with the business field, which is my major. In conclusion I am really happy with my test.

I have learned a lot about the country of Greece this year from both this project and other professors. In this class I learned about their government and how it is ran.  I also learned about their schools and how they work. This was very interesting to me and was very different from ours. I also learned about their history and where it came from. The most interesting to me was the things about their art. I also learned about this in my art appreciation class. They had many well known artist from Greece that created many famous works. They also had the very famous Greece Gods. These were the powerful people of the land and who the ancient Greece people worshipped. They have many statues and landmarks throughout the land. With my project I have learned about there economy and how cheap their living is. I learned that I could attend school and rent a house for under 10 thousand. I also learned that their food is really cheap and the people are really friendly. They also have many tourist attractions such as mount Olympia and the Catholic Churches. The churches are some of the most beautiful things in Greece and contain some of the best art work ever done by the Greece artist. This is one place I would want to visit if I ever really went to Greece. They also have many breath taking views that would draw me the land even more. This is a place I could see myself.

When I was younger I always hated writing. It was the worst thing in the world and I always struggled with it. I never knew what to write and I would always second guess everything. However, as I grew older it slowly began to change for the better.
When I entered junior high this was the time writing was the worse for me. Everyday we would write short stories or journal entries and I hated this. I slowly began to dread writing and would put off doing it as long as possible. Writing became quit the enemy for me.
Once in high school though it took a turn for the better. I no longer hated writing and kind of became fond of it. My favorite type of writing was research writing because I loved looking up information. These were easy papers for me to write because I had all the information and didn’t have to come up with it on my own.
Even the writing got easier some things were still hard. I still struggled with grammar issues and word usage. This something that I still continue to work on and is something that is a never ending process for me. At this point in my life I would say writing is no longer scary to me and is something I hit head on. I really enjoy all types of writing now and find it almost fun and relaxing. This is away to express myself in a safe and healthy manner.

The event I attended was based on Cambodia. This event took a unique approach to informing us what there goals were during there time in Cambodia. They had six different stations set up for us to visit and learn about there individual projects in Cambodia.
The first one I attended was titled water testing. The goal of this group was to show the people what is in the water they drink. They also wanted to try an catch the harmful bacteria in the water before it caused health issues to the people.
The next group I attended was titled the human knot. This group was all about creating safe and healthy games for children. The one that they had us play and plain on using while in Cambodia is titled the human knot. This game is exactly what the title says and takes a lot of communication and thinking skills.
The last group I made it to was micro lending. This group was about informing the venders about supply and demand. They had to do this in the simplest way possible and that was through hands on. They took a chart and but pins and strings representing different things. The goal was to make it as simple as possible.
This was a really interesting group and did a nice job presenting there ideas. I am really glad I attended this group.

Living a year away from home is one of the hardest things to do. There are so many things that factor into paining a year away from home. There are also so many things one can take and do when scheduling a year long trip.
The first place, or best place to start is scheduling a trip. I feel the best way to go about this is to visit my AAA agent. They can help me find things at low rates and help me schedule events to keep me busy while I am there. They can also help me find living arrangements and great places to eat in the local area.
The next step I would take would be to begin packing. I would try to pack as little as possible and take as little as I could. I would probably just take cloths and toiletry items. These would included a tooth brush because nothing else I could take on the plane. The rest of the items such as shampoo and other things of that nature I would get once I reached my destination.
Once done with all this I would then go about making sure I had all the proper identification I needed. With getting items like a pass port. This is something very important and is needed when traveling internationally. Once I finished all of these things and double checked I would be ready to begin my year abroad.

Greek education is very simple but strict. Most students attend school from the age of six to fifteen. They begin studying the English language by fourth grade and continue to study it through high school. Most of the people in this country after high school seek a degree from a University. The reason for this is because tuition and books are free but the student has to meet strict entrance requirements.
Most of the Greek Universities are public; they do not recognize private colleges and universities. However, many of these are still found in Greece but there not credited by the Greek education system. In order to get into the Greek credited schools the student has to have good scores on their state-administered exams, high GPA’s in high school, and a certain choice of major. About 15% of the Greek population holds a degree from a college or university and currently about 295,000 students are registered at the Greek universities or colleges.
Based on this information they put the Greek education system into three groups primary, secondary, and tertiary education. The primary level is preschool to about Fourth grade. The secondary level is roughly fourth grade to about twelfth grade. Then the last group the tertiary is from there on. From high school until the time one is done with their higher education. The Greek education system is very strong and hard, this is a system that develops very smart and well-rounded kids.

In the land of Greece lately a lot of things are taking places. The first major issue taking place is the agreement with Turkey to build a 128 mile wall along their border. This wall is being built to keep illegal immigrants off their land. They are comparing it to the one we know along the Mexican and United States border. Another major issue being addressed is a bomb that was defused in route to the Greek embassy. The bomb was made from a cd player and was defused by bomb experts. There were also many false alarms found around Europe.  Along with this they also had a riot break out in Greece within the last couple of months. The riot broke out after a former minister was stoned by an Athens mob. Also while this mob was taking place so was the remembrance of an earlier mob that led to the death of a teenage kid. A few years earlier a young teenage kid was shot by a police officer during a riot that took place during the very same time as the one that just recently happened. During the recent protest a few of the kids friends showed their frustration by throwing rocks, blocks of wood, and stones at windows of homes and banks. This was there way of showing how they felt towards the whole situation and the death of their friend. Greek is a country with a lot of troubles and problems that many don’t know about.

Blog number two is a brief history about Greece and its people. The official language of Greece is Greek but English and French are widely spoken. The population is roughly 11 million people and over half of them being female. The Greeks through out history have been credited with the creation of sports, advances in education, and their intense studies in human anatomy. With there advancements in sports they also created or played a major role in the creation of the Olympic games. They brought games such as running, jumping, the javelin throw, and discus. Their study of anatomy really was best seen through their ancient art work done by great Greek artist. They were very curious about the human body and it showed in many of their sculptures and paintings. A lot of there art was also seen on church walls and ceilings. Greeks also created many building using what are known as pillars. These are new seen all over the world and where the idea for the White House came from. Many Greeks also believed that their were many gods for different things. Such as the god Hercules, who was the God of strength. There was also his father, Zeus, who was very well known and still is. The Greeks have brought us a lot and impacted our world in so many ways. With out there intense exploration of the human body and the world around us many of these great things we know today wouldn’t exist.

Greece
My name is Ashley Birchmeier; I am a freshman at Defiance College. My hometown is Vaughnsville Ohio with a population of about 200 people.  I attended Columbus Grove High School where I was a two sport athlete. I played both basketball and softball in high school. My favorite of the two sports is basketball but I am much better at softball. In softball I played first base and basketball I was a post. After graduating high school my only plan was to go to college and Defiance College was the only place I applied to. Here at Defiance College I play basketball and considered softball but felt it would be to over whelming. I have an older brother, 22, who is currently enrolled in the police academy and when I am not living in the dorms I live at home with him and my parents. My parents when I was younger took my brother and me on a trip to Alaska. This is the farthest I have ever been from home but I hope to go overseas someday and visit a foreign country.
The country I choose was Greece. The reason for choosing this country was because of its rich history in the field of art. I really don’t know a lot about the country Greece but I hope through this assignment I will learn a lot about it. I also really enjoy the food of this culture and hope to find new and delicious forms of food that I didn’t previously know about.
